We have Created One of the Midwest's Largest Events for Entrepreneurs to Tell their Story; especially the Vulnerable Stuff
With a long history of entrepreneurship, and its ups and downs, we yearned for a platform to tell and hear authentic stories of entrepreneurship.
We started Startup Storytellers in a conference room with one entrepreneur sharing his story to 10 people. Now building up to its sixth event ('The Hustle') in 2018, we expect the event to fill one of the largest indoor venues in Columbus.
Creating a successful event, and managing its organic growth, is one of the most challenging things we have pulled off. From marketing the event through distributed channels, to designing the experience and production, to working with the speakers to create an inspiring series of talks, we have continued to learn how to make it even better the next time around.
METHOD: Empower a team
We work with a seasoned team of professional volunteers, sponsors/partners and vendors to give our audience what they want: impactful stories. We reach our audience through a persistent marketing campaign that includes creative promo videos, a smart online marketing campaign that focuses on Facebook and Instagram, PR and media partnerships, and more.
We focus on the measurable results through our annual impact report. Through it we memorialize the demographics of our audience and have an ongoing gauge of how we're doing and where we need to improve.
