Transforming Columbus Entrepreneurs into Confident Public Speakers to Tell the Story of their Leap to Entrepreneurship
As a former speechwriter for a U.S. Senator, our founder and CEO, David All, learned that telling stories effectively, whether on policy, politics, passion or personal life was a repeatable process. And he learned through the authoring of speeches for others that the process doesn't just end with the speech, but also requires attention to the body language and overall delivery of a story.
We created the Speaker's Bureau to organize and share our expertise and process with our community.
For our fifth Startup Storytellers event, we knew that our content, the stories that the entrepreneurs delivered, had to be as great as they could be. In all previous events, we relied on the storytellers to perfect their story, and the results varied.
Truth is, telling your personal story is much more difficult than pitching an idea or your latest business concept. It requires vulnerability, learning the structure of telling a personal story, finding the essential message of a story, and delivering it with confidence.

Led by personal growth coach, Juan Alvarez, our Speaker's Bureau met with all our storytellers over a period of four months both individually and as a group.
